Better late than never, right? These sweet parents have waited far too long to see this sneak peek of their adorable baby girl. She just happened to be born while I was on vacation and we rushed to grab those “newborn” shots as soon as we could. She was more than cooperative, I was blown away at how calm and sleepy she happened to be that day. Thanks Sonia for inviting me in to help capture this amazing time!

I had the pleasure of meeting up with these adorable boys and their sweet mom last week for a quick holiday session. It sure didn’t take much to get these two going, they had plenty of giggling fits even before I showed them the jelly bean jar. Thanks Cathy for bringing the boys down and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Here we are 2 weeks away from Christmas and somehow I’m very calm and collected this year. I have a few loose ends to tie up, a MOPS presentation, and the Holiday Party/Mini Sessions at the new studio space, but other than that my “break” has been wonderful! Taking this time off each year is exactly what I need to set myself up for an awesome year of photos in 2012!~

Anyhoo, meet Darcy and her gorgeous soon-to-be family of four. They are the sweetest family and were so much fun to hang out with right before taking off for my vacation. I feel bad that they have had to wait for a few weeks to see these but hopefully they agree it was worth the wait. I am so so excited to meet their sweet baby girl who is scheduled to arrive just after the holidays!

This holiday installment of the 10 on 10 project just happens to land in the middle of our annual family trip to Kona. I thought of abandoning this blog for a month but I knew that not only would I be disappointed in not participating but I would miss out on capturing some of my favorite images yet. Soon I’ll be headed back to the Pacific Northwest where I’ll trade in sandals for snow boots and the kids will start asking to ski and not surf,but for now i’m going to close my eyes and pretend I don’t have to go anywhere.

Yep it’s Thanksgiving and yes I am blogging. I am super thankful that all my lovely children are all tuckered out from today’s festivities and happily off into dreamland. I am so incredibly lucky to get to do what I do for a “job”….really how can I call this a job? Thank you so much to all my wonderful and amazing clients/friends who call on me to help capture your family, your lives just as they are RIGHT NOW.

So on to baby B and his gorgeous parents! These guys are up in the Valley visiting family before they had back to sunny San Diego. I’m just a tad jealous that’s where they call homeHere he is in all his 2 month old goodness!
